Gavin Lux Could Get A Look In The Near Future
Gavin Lux, baseball's No. 2 prospect, could get a call to the big leagues in the near future with shortstop Corey Seager (back) missing the last six games and with the Dodgers not getting much production out of their other left-handed hitters. Lux was the preseason favorite to win the National League Rookie of the Year award, but his delayed arrival to summer camp played a factor in the team's decision to leave him off the major league roster to begin the shortened season. Service-time considerations likely played a factor, too, but that deadline has now passed and we could see the high-upside 22-year-old in the majors soon. Pick him up and stash him now if he's available in your league.
