Garrett Cooper Scratched Wednesday

Miami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper (triceps) has been scratched from the lineup on Wednesday with a sore left triceps. Yadiel Rivera is starting at first base and will hit seventh against Cardinals starting pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon. Cooper has a history of injuries, so hopefully this will only keep him out for a day or two at the most. The 28-year-old has hit well this year, slashing .310/.384/.488 with six homers, 25 runs and 21 RBI. He won't stand out in the counting stats, but he has put himself on the map in deep mixed leagues while hitting for a nice average. Rivera should be faded in DFS. He has a hit in his six at-bats on the year for Miami.
