5 months agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper went 3-for-3 with two walks during the 12-7 win over the San Diego Padres. The 28-year-old finished with two hits in addition to an eighth inning home run off of reliever Robbie Erlin that brought in three runs. Cooper has been hot over the last seven days, going 6-for-14 including six RBI and three homers while striking out only four times. He will look to keep it going on Wednesday against Chris Paddack.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
