Freddy Galvis To Play In Rehab Games Soon
Baltimore Orioles shortstop Freddy Galvis (quadriceps) will participate in rehab games sometime within the next few days. Galvis has been out for about a month because of a right calf strain, and the latest update keeps him in line with the July 30 anticipated return date. The 31-year-old still has value, although not as much as in previous years, primarily since he isn't a consistent threat to steal bases. Nonetheless, he is still worth a stash in deeper formats, although nobody would blame fantasy managers for dropping him. Ramon Urias should continue to benefit until Galvis returns.
