Detroit Red Wings center Frans Nielsen was injured early in the game on Tuesday night after a hit from Bruins forward David Backes. The enforcer Backes earned a penalty on the play, but Nielsen left the game and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the night. Despite scoring a power-play goal before being injured, Nielsen has not been much of a fantasy asset for Detroit this year. The larger impact comes from opposing teams who will not have to face one of Detroit's best penalty killers while he is out. Look for Detroit's next two opponents (Vegas and Columbus) to try and take advantage on the power play later this week.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
