Florida Panthers forward Frank Vatrano scored his first goal with his new team in a shootout win over the New York Rangers on Saturday night. Vatrano had been recovering from an ankle injury since being traded from the Boston Bruins at the trade deadline, but appears to be fully healed after logging 19:05 of time on ice on Florida's second line. Playing alongside Jonathan Huberdeau and Vincent Trocheck should provide plenty of scoring opportunities for Vatrano going forward, and recording five shots on goal in his first game is even more promising. Vatrano is also eligible at all three forward positions, so he offers lineup flexibility as well as upside. As long as he stays on Florida's second line and second power-play unit, he will be worth roster consideration.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
