Frank Clark Charged With Felony Weapons Possession
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was charged with a felony weapons violation on Friday, stemming from his arrest on March 13 by the California Highway Patrol. An alleged gun incident involving Clark in Los Angeles in June remains under investigation. He's scheduled to be arraigned from the March incident on July 14. If convicted, Clark could face up to three years of imprisonment. The 28-year-old pass-rusher has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons with the Chiefs, compiling 48 solo tackles, 29 QB hits, one interceptions, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 14 sacks in that span. However, he could be facing jail time or a lengthy suspension from the league, making him an obvious risk in IDP leagues this fall. Losing him for any amount of time would be a huge blow to KC's pass rush.
