Francisco Lindor Struggling Since Return
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 1-for-5 with a run scored in the Mets' 11-6 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday. Over his last seven games since returning from a finger injury suffered when he smashed his finger in a hotel door, Lindor is batting just .200/.250/.333 over 30 at-bats with one homer, two RBI, and one steal. He reportedly has a small fracture in his finger, but he is playing through it. Hopefully, Lindor, who was red hot before the injury, can get his bat going again. Overall, Lindor is having a solid 2022 campaign slashing .249/.328/.421 with nine home runs, 45 RBI, 40 runs scored, and eight stolen bases in 233 at-bats. He should remain active in all formats, despite the recent struggles on the back end of the Mets' current west coast swing.
