6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Felix Hernandez has been nursing a sore back but will make his scheduled turn in the rotation Friday against the Rockies. The back bothered Hernandez in his last start but a successful bullpen session has cleared the way for him to pitch. Hernandez carries a 5.11 ERA into Friday but is coming off of a month of June where he posted a 3-2 record with 3.71 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. Hernandez is far from the player he once was but has been a reliable innings eater to this point in the season. He is, however, not a fantasy player worth depending on at this time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
