Falcons Want To Keep Grady Jarrett Around Long Term
Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank thinks that defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and wide receiver Julio Jones will be "Falcons for life." Atlanta put the $15.2 million franchise tag on Jarrett this offseason and have been negotiating a long-term deal with Jones. Jarrett was a fifth-round pick in 2011, and he and the Falcons can negotiate until July 15. The 25-year-old had 52 total tackles, a career-high six sacks and three forced fumbles in 14 games for Atlanta in 2018 and is only getting better.
