The Atlanta Falcons agreed to an undisclosed contract with linebacker Deone Bucannon on Thursday. The former first-round pick (27th overall) in 2014 by the Cardinals turned out to be a bust in the NFL to this point. The 27-year-old spent five seasons with the Cardinals before playing for the Giants and Buccaneers in 2019. In his six seasons, Bucannon has only seven sacks, two interceptions (one for a TD), 12 passes defensed, seven forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. The versatile defender started out as a strong safety in Arizona before being converted to a linebacker and then back to a defensive back in his final season in the desert. He'll be depth for Atlanta's D in 2020.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
