San Jose Sharks winger Evander Kane cleared waivers on Monday and he'll be assigned to the AHL. Kane received a 21-game suspension for violating the NHL/NHLPA's COVID-19 protocols at the start of the season, which he has now served, but the 30-year-old clearly doesn't have a future in San Jose and the Sharks don't want to have him anywhere near the team. They will now actively look to trade him, but considering Kane's $7,000,000 cap hit and his reputation as a ticking time bomb, it's likely going to be very difficult to make a deal. Kane finds himself in the minors just a season after recording a career-high 0.88 points per game in the NHL.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
