Ervin Santana Will Throw 60 Pitches in Rehab Start
Ervin Santana (finger) will throw 60 pitches in his first minor league rehab start on Wednesday. He had his scheduled start with Double-A Chattanooga rained out, so the team pushed it back to Wednesday. Santana will move onto a 75-pitch outing May 28 at Triple-A Rochester. There could be one more rehab start after that, but the Twins have not determined whether or not Santana will need a third start. Santana does have value in some leagues, but he is not expected to return until around June.
