Erik Jones has been having problems lately with speedway tracks of the 1-2 mile variety. Nashville is a 1.33-mile course and Jones basically had been having issues even running five laps in practice. The Richard Petty Motorsports driver fared better on the two road tracks recently (16th and 11th) over speedway courses. Jones has finished outside the top-15 in the last three speedway outings. The setup this week is even worse for Joens and the expectation is to not see him among the top-15 again. He just does not have the car to compete in Nashville. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
