Erik Jones A Slam-Dunk DFS Pick For Indy
4 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing's Erik Jones will start 23rd in Sunday's Big Machine 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After crashing out in race one of the Pocono doubleheader, Jones rebounded to finish third in race two. The finish was a shot in the arm to the No. 20 team, and Jones will look to carry that momentum into Indy. In his three starts at Indy, Jones only finished one race, but that was a second-place run in 2018. While he wrecked out in the other two races, Jones ran well in both of them. Despite starting outside the top 20, Jones' price is below average, at $8,100 in DFS. Given his equipment, and the fact that he came from 38th to finish third last week, Jones offers a massive upside for Sunday's race. A solid top-10 finish is very likely and will make Jones an awesome driver to stick in lineups.
