In just his second game back from a knee injury, Erik Haula of the Carolina Hurricanes scored two goals and added an assist in an 8-6 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. He now has 10 goals and five power-play points in 18 games during his injury-shortened season. Owned in just 18% of Yahoo leagues with dual eligibility at both center and left wing, he could be a solid fantasy option in the second half of the year for the high-flying Hurricanes. Rookie forward Martin Necas had a breakout game with two goals and four points. He has also recorded at least one hit in seven straight games. With 21 points in 33 contests, he’s a sleeper name to tuck away and remember for the later rounds of your fantasy draft next season. James Reimer got the start in net for Carolina but was chased after he allowed three goals on seven shots. Replacement Petr Mrazek was a little bit better but he still gave up four goals on 31 shots. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
