Emmet Sheehan Set to Join Dodgers Rotation Next Week
Emmet Sheehan (elbow) will return to the rotation at some point next week, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Sheehan has been working his way back from Tommy John surgery, and after building up to 63 pitches in his most recent rehab outing, appears ready to return to the majors. It seems likely that Sheehan will begin on a pitch count and, therefore, is unlikely to go deep into games during his first few starts. The 25-year-old showed promise in 2023 before his injury and has some appeal in deeper fantasy formats. Other than that, he is more of a wait-and-see at this point.
