Eloy Jimenez Takes Batting Practice Monday
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) was able to take batting practice on the field on Monday before the team's game against the Minnesota Twins. Jimenez landed on the injured list with a left hamstring strain last week but it already hitting and doing some light running, so he could return to the White Sox's lineup soon. The White Sox initially said they expected the 26-year-old to be out for just two weeks, so he needs to remain stashed in all fantasy leagues. Jimenez had just four hits in his first 19 at-bats (.211 average), but he has high-end fantasy upside when he's healthy. Gavin Sheets should continue to see more opportunities in the outfield for the Pale Hose until Jimenez returns from the injured list.
