2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (groin) is expected to play in the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Mitchell is listed as questionable to play. It's unclear what Mitchell's workload will be if he's active, but there's a good chance we'll see a heavy dose of running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receiver Deebo Samuel out of the backfield. The 24-year-old out-carried McCaffrey in last week's win over the Dallas Cowboys, going for 51 rushing yards on 14 carries, but he's likely to take a back seat to CMC in this one after missing two practices earlier in the week. Mitchell should play against Philly, but his workload could be minimal, making him a touchdown-dependent DFS sleeper.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
