Elandon Roberts Signing Two-Year Deal With Steelers
2 years agoFree-agent linebacker Elandon Roberts said he is signing an undisclosed two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. Roberts is coming off a great season for the Miami Dolphins with a career-high 107 tackles (68 solo), career-high 4.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss and six QB hits in 17 regular season starts in his third year in Miami. The 28-year-old will fit an area of need for Pittsburgh in the middle of their defense heading into the 2023 campaign. Roberts was a former sixth-round pick of the New England Patriots in 2016 out of Houston, and he spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Pats before joining the division-rival Dolphins in 2020.
