Chicago Cubs pitcher Eddie Butler has been activated from the 60-day disabled list prior to the team's game on Tuesday. Luke Farrell was demoted to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Butler has been out since April 19 with a groin strain. On the season, he has pitched to a 4.30 ERA and a 10/5 K/BB ratio. He may earn some spot starts in the second half, but Butler will mostly work in middle relief, limiting his fantasy appeal.--Dan Fappiano
