5/25:Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he expects safety Earl Thomas to be back before minicamp next month. Thomas is skipping organized team activities this week as he seeks a new contract in the final year of his current deal. The Seahawks attempted to trade Thomas before the draft but were unsuccessful in finding a trade partner at a high asking price for the aging veteran. Thomas has battled injuries the last two seasons but can still play at a high level when on the field, as evidenced by his 88 tackles and two interceptions in 14 games last season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
