Earl Thomas Expected Back For Minicamp
7 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he expects safety Earl Thomas to be back before minicamp next month. Thomas is skipping organized team activities this week as he seeks a new contract in the final year of his current deal. The Seahawks attempted to trade Thomas before the draft but were unsuccessful in finding a trade partner at a high asking price for the aging veteran. Thomas has battled injuries the last two seasons but can still play at a high level when on the field, as evidenced by his 88 tackles and two interceptions in 14 games last season.
