Eagles Hopeful Jalen Reagor Can Play In Week 9
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that the team is "hopeful" that wide receiver Jalen Reagor (ankle) will be able to play in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers after he suffered an ankle injury in the blowout win over the Detroit Lions in Week 8. We'll have a better idea of whether Reagor will play once the team starts practicing on Wednesday. Before his injury, the 22-year-old second-year pass-catcher had two carries for 21 yards and caught one pass for no gain. The Eagles didn't really need to air the ball out against the winless Lions on Sunday, with rookie DeVonta Smith catching just one pass despite Reagor getting injured. Philly's offense could go back to being extremely frustrating against LA, and Reagor hasn't caught more than three passes in a game since Week 3.
