Eagles Divvying Up Play-Calling Duties
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that he is divvying up play-calling duties on offense at times, saying that it's a "collaborative" effort and that it's "my decision to call plays or if I'm going to give them up." "It hasn't been a lot, but something I'll consider each week," Pederson said. Pass-game coordinator Press Taylor has been given some of the play-calling duties and senior offensive assistant Rich Scangarello has done some of the two-minute work. Quarterback Carson Wentz has fallen off a cliff in terms of his production from previous seasons, although injuries, a crumbling offensive line and a lack of difference-making weapons around him hasn't helped his cause. Wentz will be getting tight end Zach Ertz (ankle) back in Week 13 against the Packers, but he's become more of a low-end QB2 for fantasy managers at this point.
