Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin had five shots in Detroit’s shutout loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night. This makes it 12 games since Larkin has scored, but it is not for a lack of attempts. Larkin now leads the Red Wings in shots for the season, averaging 2.76 shots per game, but has been shooting much more since the start of February, averaging 3.56 shots per game. With a career 8.4 shooting percentage, it should only be a matter of time until Larkin improves on his 4.9 shooting percentage for this year. That positive regression may not come until next year, but for now Larkin has snuck into the top 50 for shots on goal this season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
