Dustin May To Debut Friday Against Padres

Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Dustin May will make his major league debut on Friday against the Padres, according to sources. The 21-year-old right-hander is the team's No. 2 prospect behind Gavin Lux and is the No. 35 prospect overall, per MLB Pipeline. He has the stuff to succeed right away with an excellent offense behind him and could realistically stick in the rotation the rest of the way if he produces. May went 6-5 with a 3.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 in 106 2/3 innings over 20 starts for Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City. He was a third-round pick in 2016 and features a mid-90s two-seamer that gets plenty of ground balls. He'll be a popular waiver wire addition in most leagues right away. We hope you have enough FAAB saved up.
