Drew Lock Can't Be Trusted Against Chargers
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock had one of his better games this year against the Chargers back in Week 8, throwing for 248 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the last-second win over their division rivals. Lock threw for a season-high four touchdowns and 280 yards against Carolina in Week 14, but he returned to his mediocre ways in the Week 15 loss to Buffalo. The Chargers Defense has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to signal-callers in 2020, but Lock has averaged just 6.55 yards per attempt this year and has been the worst QB under pressure. Most of the yardage the Bolts have allowed to QBs has come on the ground, and Lock doesn't run all that much. Denver will try to establish their run game first and avoid having to rely on the second-year QBs arm. The 24-year-old profiles as an uninspiring low-end QB2 yet again.
