Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie Still Trying To Play
4 years agoVeteran free-agent cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who has been linked to a coaching job at his alma mater of Tennessee State, hasn't given up the idea of playing in the NFL and has workouts scheduled post-draft. He would only coach if there are no more playing opportunities. The 35-year-old didn't play at all in 2020 and played in only two games in 2019 with the Washington Football Team. The two-time Pro Bowler was the 16th overall pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2008. DRC spent the first three seasons of his career with the Cardinals before playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, New York Giants and Oakland Raiders. It may be more of a long shot that he makes a return to an NFL field.
