Dinelson Lamet Benefits As Padres Move To Six-Man Rotation
4 years agoSan Diego Padres manager Jayce Tingler said that the team is going to a six-man starting rotation, beginning on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The left-handed Blake Snell made the start on Monday, with Joe Musgrove, Chris Paddack, Ryan Weathers, Dinelson Lamet and Yu Darvish following him this week. Lamet got a late start to the season due to injury, but he's slowly building up his workload and went a season-high three frames in the win over the Seattle Mariners last Saturday. The 28-year-old right-hander walked none and struck out five in his latest outing, so fantasy managers should be encouraged by his most recent outing. Lamet should give his managers solid ratios and strikeout totals, but keep in mind that his workload is still being managed.
