Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant blamed "Garrett guys" for spearheading his release on Friday. "I'll say this right here: I believe that 'Garrett guys' [are to blame]. I would say that," Bryant said in response to a question from Jane Slater on the idea that some teammates had a role in the decision to release him. Bryant was also upset that he wasn't selected as a team captain in 2017. The receiver also said that a pay cut wasn't offered to him as an option before he was released. The bottom line is that Bryant wore out his welcome in Dallas and was too expensive to stick around after catching just 69 of his 133 targets last season. The veteran receiver isn't the star wideout he once was, but he's still a big-bodied pass catcher that can be a red-zone weapon for another team. His fantasy value will depend on where he ends up, but he's interested in signing with another team in the NFC East, possibly the Giants or Redskins.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
