Deshaun Watson Unhappy With Organization
4 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is extremely unhappy with the organization after owner Cal McNair told him he would be involved in the next general manager and head coach hiring process to provide feedback, but then did neither in their hire of Nick Caserio as the next GM, according to sources. The league's passing leader in 2020 was disappointed with his lack of involvement in the hiring process. Watson hasn't spoken with the team's brass in recent days, but they have tried to call him. The 25-year-old remains under contract until 2025 and proved he is still an elite fantasy quarterback without All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Houston's porous defense played a part in that, but Watson should remain a top-five fantasy QB heading into 2021 fantasy drafts. He finished the 2020 season with 4,826 passing yards and 33 touchdowns while also rushing for 444 yards and three touchdowns.
