Derrick Henry Not In Concussion Protocol

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel clarified on Monday that running back Derrick Henry (head) is not in the league's concussion protocol. It was reported earlier on Monday that Henry was in the protocols after suffering a head injury in the Week 13 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It's good news for King Henry, but it's still concerning that he never returned to the game, and his status for Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins next Monday could be in question. The good news is the bruising running back had a highly productive game before his injury, rushing 21 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Rookie Tyjae Spears had a season-high 16 carries for 75 yards against Indy and is deserving of a waiver-wire pickup this week, especially if you have Henry rostered.
