Derek Carr Still In Concussion Protocol
1 year agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (concussion) is still in the league's concussion protocol coming out of the team's bye week. Carr suffered a concussion and another right-shoulder injury in the Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but he was already cleared from his shoulder injury. The 32-year-old's status is up in the air for Week 12 against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons, though, as long he remains in the concussion protocol. We'll keep a close eye on his practice status this week. In his first year in New Orleans, Carr has merely been a low-end QB2 option with limited upside in fantasy. If he isn't given the green light to play in Week 12, turnover-prone Jameis Winston would be forced to make his first start of the year under center for the Saints.
