Dereck Lively II Logs 17 Minutes In Return
10 months agoDallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (nose) was back in the lineup for Monday's 116-93 win over the Spurs. The rookie missed seven games because of a broken nose, an injury that required surgical intervention. He finished with only eight points, going 3-for-5 from the field, adding five rebounds and one assist. Lively came off the bench in this one, allowing the recently acquired Daniel Gafford to remain in the starting lineup. Gafford has played well since his trade from Washington. However, he had his lowest-producing game with the Mavs thus far. With all this in mind, both men could be battling for work moving forward, which isn't an ideal scenario for fantasy managers.
