4 years agoNew York Jets rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims (hamstring) missed practice again on Wednesday, but he was seen doing some light running on the side. The Jets are hoping to have Mims back at practice soon, and the 59th overall pick needs all the development he can in this unusual offseason before the regular season begins. The 22-year-old speedster will be a downfield threat for quarterback Sam Darnold, but don't be surprised if he gets off to a slow start after missing valuable time in training camp. Breshad Perriman and Jamison Crowder are the team's top two receivers, with Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios potentially seeing more playing time if Mims is slow to develop.
