Denny Hamlin enters Sunday's YellaWood 500 second in the points standings 37 points above the cutline and fifteen points higher than Chris Buescher, the next driver not locked in. Despite his past success on drafting tracks, he seems unlikely to win. Hamlin drives a Toyota while Ford drivers have led the most laps in all five of the previous drafting races. Even though he's less likely to win, he has a large enough advantage over the cutline that he will probably advance if he doesn't crash. Since he has completed all but one lap in the last year's worth of drafting races even though he didn't really contend, that indicates he is likely to finish and advance.--Sean Wrona - RotoBallerRead More News
