De'Aaron Fox Notches 34 Points In Saturday's Matchup
2 years agoSacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox became the latest playmaker to take advantage of a great matchup against the Lakers, racking up a team-high 34 points in Saturday's 136-134 loss. He did it with 11-for-21 shooting from the field and with a 12-for-14 record at the charity stripe. Fox missed his sixth double-double of the season by one assist and also had two rebounds in 38 minutes of action. The Kings star has started 2023 off in impressive fashion, averaging 28.8 points in four games with 3.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists. A tougher evening against Orlando awaits Fox next, but back-to-back games against Houston will follow. While the Lakers give up the second-most points in the league to opposing point guards, the Rockets are the eighth-kindest team to the position.
