David Dahl Slugs Homer In Loss
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder David Dahl went 2-for-3 with his third home run of the season during the club's 4-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. The former Colorado Rockies player was getting the start in center field just days after losing his everyday role when designated hitter Khris Davis was activated off the injured list. Dahl is hitting just .222 with a .613 OPS through 31 games. His BB-K is a dismal 4-30. The 27-year-old hit .315 with an .859 OPS spanning 63 games during his rookie season in 2016 but injuries and a poor approach at the plate have haunted him ever since. His days of being fantasy viable could be over.
