David Dahl Knocks Three Hits Against Chicago
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl was the only member of the offense to have a good day against the Cubbies on Wednesday when he smacked three hits while his teammates scuffled. Dahl's hits included his 19th double of the season, but he was unable to knock in any runs due to the team's severe lack of baserunners in the 10-1 beat down. Dahl is still riding high off a ridiculous .422 BABIP, so owners should expect some correction in the future, but his strikeout rate of 25% is sustainable. Even with his nutty batting average, Dahl has still only hit six home runs so far, so he's looking more like a 15-20 home run guy than a 30+ home run guy, like some were predicting before the season, but perhaps he can still grow. He is just 25 years old, after all.
