New York Giants linebacker Darrian Beavers (knee) will miss the entirety of his rookie year after having sustained a torn ACL during Sunday's preseason win over the Bengals. Beavers was chosen in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Cincinnati, where he was a First-team All-AAC selection last year. The 23-year-old was expected to add depth to the team's linebacker position, a group that includes Blake Martinez and Tae Crowder. New York's rookie class alone took a significant blow in its second preseason game, as Kayvon Thibodeaux (knee) will be on the shelf for 3-4 weeks with an MCL sprain, while offensive lineman Marcus McKethan (knee) endured a torn ACL of his own. The Giants' defense is firmly on the outside looking in of fantasy consideration in all formats this year.--Jesse BorekRead More News
