Danny Santana Struggling At Summer Camp
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder/infielder Danny Santana was 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in the intrasquad game on Thursday against starting pitcher Corey Kluber, and he's now 0-for-13 with 10 strikeouts in summer camp action. "I think he’s just getting his timing back," manager Chris Woodward said. "I’m not overly concerned." Fantasy owners shouldn't expect the same kind of numbers that Santana produced in 2019 -- 28 home runs, 21 steals, .283 batting average and over 80 RBI -- but he'll be a regular once again and is still a top-50 fantasy outfielder because of his ability to steal bases and the flexibility that he gives fantasy owners at almost every position on the diamond.
