Daniel Vogelbach Injures Leg Running Bases
Daniel Vogelbach (leg) appeared to injure his leg while scoring on a two-run single in the sixth inning, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The injury appears to have happened after he rounded third base, as Vogelbach was seen hobbling his way down the line to score on the hit. He had to be helped off the field by trainers, and was replaced defensively by Daniel Robertson in the bottom half of the inning. It looks like Vogelbach could be facing a trip to the IL, which is disappointing as he had started to heat up over his last 15 games where he was slashing .231/.322/.481 with three homers, six RBI and eight runs scored.
