Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) has rejoined the team in Washington D.C. He had previously been in West Palm Beach, Florida, in extended spring training, recuperating from microfracture surgery in his right knee. The team was taking it slowly with his recovery given Murphy's long injury history with the lower half of his body. There is no word yet on how soon he'll be activated, but the fact that he's with the team in D.C. instead of on a minor league assignment could be a good sign. When healthy, he's one of the league's best hitters and would be a welcome addition to owners' rosters once again.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
