Daniel Jones Officially Out, Could Miss More Time

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is officially out for Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins with what the team is calling a strained neck. Despite practicing on a limited basis this week, Jones has not been cleared for contact, according to head coach Joe Judge. The Giants don't consider this a season-ending injury, but they don't know when Jones will be cleared for contact, leaving open the possibility that he could miss more than just this Sunday's game. Mike Glennon will step in under center against Miami and for however long Jones is out. As a result, fantasy managers should be downgrading New York's relevant pass-catching skill players, although the Giants could rely more on running back Saquon Barkley and he could see more short dump-off passes from Glennon. Glennon made five starts with the Jaguars last year but will only be a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues this weekend.
