Daniel Jones' Mobility Limited
4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) practiced in full on Wednesday for the first time in more than a month, but he's been playing through a left ankle sprain and right hamstring strain. "I've played from the pocket the past couple weeks, and I expect to continue to do that until I'm healthy," Jones said. The second-year quarterback has done some damage with his legs earlier this year, but he's run the ball just once in his two games since his initial hamstring ailment. Jones didn't look compromised in the Week 16 loss to the Ravens, but he was content to not leave the pocket. The 23-year-old will get a beatable Dallas defense in a must-win Week 17 game, but his lack of mobility will make him more of a low-end QB2 if you are still playing for a fantasy championship.
