Daniel Jones Looks Good During Workout
4 years agoNew York Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett said that quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) "looked good" after a workout following the team's walk-through on Wednesday. However, head coach Joe Judge said there are "a lot of things we still have to see" before the team makes a final determination on whether Jones can play in Week 14 against the Cardinals. The plan is for Jones and backup Colt McCoy to split first-team snaps in practice on Thursday. Signs are pointing toward Jones playing on Sunday, but the next two days will give us a better picture. A potentially less mobile Jones against Arizona isn't a ringing endorsement for fantasy managers, so he'll be a mid-range QB2 if he returns. But his return would be good news for all of the Giants receivers. The Cardinals Defense has allowed only one QB to throw for more than two touchdowns against them in 2020.
