Daniel Hemric Continues To Lag In Indianapolis
5 months agoDaniel Hemric did not have the best of qualifying efforts or practices at Indianapolis. The Kaulig Racing driver starts Sunday's Brickyard 400 from the 32nd position. There is little hope of place differential. However, maybe some attrition could remedy that problem. The No. 31 Chevy ran 31st in practice a full 1.124 seconds off the best in that session. His qualifying effort was 0.989 seconds off the pole position lap of Tyler Reddick. Suspension issues hurt Hemric at Pocono. However, attrition helped at Nashville and Chicago. One thing is certain. Hemric will need help to be a viable DFS option on Sunday.
