Dan Hooker scored a split decision win over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305. Hooker was coming off a year-long layoff and was a heavy underdog. The Kiwi struggled with Gamrot's wrestling as he was taken down five times, but Hooker was able to land the more damaging shots on the feet. It was a very competitive fight but Hooker was able to land the better shots to edge out the split decision win. With the win, Hooker could be ranked in the top-five at lightweight and is now on a three-fight winning streak.--Cole Shelton
