Dalvin Cook Totals Just 21 Yards In Week 12 Loss

New York Jets running back Dalvin Cook continued to be an afterthought in this putrid offense in the 34-13 loss to the division-rival Miami Dolphins on Friday in Week 12. Cook finished the loss with just one carry for two yards and caught two of his three targets for 19 yards in the passing attack. The Jets couldn't do anything on the ground against Miami, totaling 29 rushing yards as a team (25 from Breece Hall). The 28-year-old Cook remains a distant second on the RB depth chart behind Hall, and in an offense now led by quarterback Tim Boyle, there's absolutely zero upside for Cook in his current role. At best, Cook is merely a handcuff option for fantasy managers that have Hall rostered in deeper leagues. Cook is averaging a career-low 3.2 yards per carry for 162 rushing yards and no TDs on 50 attempts in 2023.
