Dallas Goedert May Not Miss More Than Three Weeks
1 year agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said he has "high hopes" that tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) won't miss more than three weeks. "There's a reason he's not on Injured Reserve yet," Sirianni said. Goedert fractured his forearm in Week 9 and the Eagles were on bye in Week 10. The 28-year-old will miss his first game with the injury on Monday night when the team faces the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. He probably won't be able to return in Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills, either, but there's a chance Philly will have him available again in Week 13 in a showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. Until then, the Eagles will likely use some combination of Jack Stoll and Albert Okwuegbunam at the position.

Dallas Goedert Reportedly On The Trade Block
4 weeks agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is reportedly on the trade block, according to team beat reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks. With the new league year set to begin on Wednesday, the Eagles are making no secret about the fact that they would like to move Goedert, with Parks stating that it feels like the tight end's time with the team is nearing an end. Goedert has been productive when on the field for the Eagles, but he has struggled with injuries, missing 23 games over his seven-year career. Veteran Grant Calcaterra is listed as the team's No. 2 tight end on the depth chart and showed some flashes in 2024 when Goedert was out, but the Eagles could also opt to address the position in the 2025 draft in what is a strong year for tight-end prospects.

Dallas Goedert Targeted Twice In Super Bowl
2 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught each of his two targets for a total of 27 yards during Sunday's Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran receiver struggled to overcome competition for touches in 2024, losing key opportunities to players like Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith. In fact, he wasn't even targeted in the second half of Sunday's big game. (One potential explanation is that the Eagles went run-heavy for most of the third and fourth quarters to drain the clock.) All in all, Goedert still has mid-range TE1 fantasy upside, but his floor dips significantly into the TE2 tier. As a result, we view him as a fringe top-12 fantasy tight end option heading into the 2025 season.

Dallas Goedert Available For Super Bowl
2 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. As expected, Goedert is ready to go after getting through three straight full practice sessions this week. This is good news for the Eagles offense with wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) still banged up heading into this game. That being said, Goedert might be asked to play a bigger role on offense if Smith is somewhat limited. Goedert is coming off a seven-catch performance for 85 yards during the NFL title game against the Washington Commanders. He figures to play a significant role during the upcoming Super Bowl.

Dallas Goedert Practices In Full Again
2 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) was a full participant during Thursday's practice session. This is now back-to-back full practices for Goedert ahead of this Sunday's Super Bowl. The expectation is that Goedert is going to be removed from the injury report following Friday's practice. He might still be a little banged up, but at this point in the season who is 100 percent healthy. There is no reason to believe that Goedert won't be a full-go for Sunday's big game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
